Take a look at these videos:
Block out July 2012 for the USMS LCM Nationals. It will be held right after
the US Olympic Trials, at the trials venue! Go to the Olympic trials, get
all amped up, then you'll be ready for fast swimming!
Training and Practice Updates
If you're interested in early morning LCM swims at NTY, let me know. Last year,
I was able to run some informal practices, and will pursue that again if others
are interested. I'll probably start this week, Friday, at 6 - 7:30am. The
following week will move to 5:30 - 7am. We get those thunderstorms in the
afternoon in the summer, so if you can make some morning swims, you'll get your
practice in.
Giveback
Tara Deering has scheduled another adaptive swimming session on June 19, from
10:15 - 11:15am. If you are able, its a rewarding experience to help some less
abled folks improve their swimming. Let Tara or me know if you have some time
to give back.
Upcoming Competition and Events
The Bumpy Jones is coming up soon. Its a fun meet, a nice picnic on Saturday to
meet some fellow swimmers, and a good way to see how much more you need to
train. They have an online entry system, so its easy! But time is running out,
so don't delay!
