St Pete Meet
A couple of notes...
- We usually set up on the far end of the pool from the competition end of
the 50m pool, which is expected to be where the competition is hosted.
Slight chance the meet will be in the 25y x 25m pool. Regardless, we should
have a couple of TMM banners set up with our canopies, so just look for
those.
- We have 27 swimmers registered to compete this weekend. Largest
visiting team! A new TMM record!
- We have 3 canopies we can set up for some shade from Bruce, Mark and
Tim. We will also try to set up near one of the big umbrellas. If anyone
else has a canopy, please bring it along.
- We will also be setting up relays. Dave is drafting some up. If you
are registered for a day, please to try to make it for the team!... or at
least let me or Dave know if you something as come up and you can't
participate.
- We (me) will be on had for some photos, and will try to get a team
photo, so wear you finest TMM t-shirt! If I can't swim, I'll be the team
photographer!
- We will likely have some folks go out after the meet on Saturday and
Sunday for a bite and recovery beverages, so please that in mind.
- Get ready to race fast!
Dinner
after practice Thursday at New Tampa
We are still on for an after practice dinner tomorrow March 31 at New Tampa,
around 8:20pm or so. Try to stop by. We'll plan on Ciccio's Lodge again....
its close, fairly quick, with a wide, eclectic menu. Hopefully the weather
holds out. We did swim tonight, but we got a little wet!
