Social has been confirmed!
The Y-Nats social will be held at the Westin (old Yankee Trader) in their new
beautiful patio area. It will be on Friday April 16, 4-6 PM, with a buffet and
cash bar. The cost is only $10. Either they want a lot of people, or they want
you to have more money to spend at the bar ;-). I've attached a new entry form
with the $10 social charge, so please use this new form for the meet entries.
If you are looking for a hotel, a room mate to split charges, or interested in
sharing a ride, let me know and I'll get the word out.
As a reminder, here is the information for Y-Nats:
The meet starts at 8am each day (warm ups 7am), but is usually done by early
afternoon each day, so plenty of time to relax and have fun.

this note.
The YMCA Nationals does not require U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) registration,
but you must be a full YMCA member. This year "Program Members" are eligible.
The meet is recognized by USMS for times, top tens, records, etc.
Please be aware that Y-Nats requires a single, combined team entry with a single
payment check, so we'll need your entries ahead of time to get through all the
paper work. This also includes relays, so please be sure to indicate which
relays you want to swim, and your split times. Please don't wait to the last
minute!
Dates: April 15 - 18 (April 15 is the 1000 and 1650 only, so if you're
not swimming those, show up on the April 16)
Location: Ft Lauderdale, Hall of Fame Pool
Entry fees are:
• $25.00 surcharge per individual (does not include social)
• $7.00 per individual event,
• $28.00 per relay event (last year this was paid for by the Y)
• $40.00 for the social on April 17 (optional)
Individual Entry form: is Page 4 in the "meet packet".
Please use the attached entry form. Please print it off, and fill it out for
your events. You can enter up to 3 individual events per day, and up to 8
events for the meet. Don't worry about the other forms in the packet (unless
you want to help!). Please be sure to enter your times for you events, sign the
liability waiver, and bring a check for your individual entry fees. Make check
out to New Tampa YMCA (add the Y Nat. ref in your memo).

swim, and your split times. More relays are more points, so we want lots of

Hotel/Lodging: If you're interested in trying to get some group hotel,
let me know by Feb 12, and we'll give it a go. There are hotels within walking
distance, but the tend to be rather expensive. There is beach parking nearby
that ran $10/day last year.
